BY ACCESSING OR USING THE “PLATFORM” (AS DEFINED BELOW), OR ANY “SERVICES” OR “CONTENT” (AS SUCH TERMS ARE DEFINED IN THE ROSTER TERMS OF SERVICE AND ROSTER USER AGREEMENT) OR BY CLICKING A BOX THAT STATES THAT YOU ACCEPT OR AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY. Roster Technologies, LLC d/b/a roster and its Affiliates (“roster,” “us,” “we,” or “our”) are committed to taking reasonable steps to protect your privacy. We have prepared this Privacy Policy to describe to you, or if you represent an entity or other organization, that entity or organization, (in either case, “you” or “User”) our practices regarding the personal information that roster collects from you, uses, and shares in connection with our online platform for work placement services (the “Platform”) accessed through the website located at www.withroster.com and through various other websites operated by roster (each a “Website“) or using mobile and online applications provided by and on behalf of roster (each, an “Application,” and each Website and Application treated as a part of the “Platform” for purposes of this Privacy Policy). Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy, shall have the meetings as defined in the roster Terms of Service or the roster User Agreement.

We reserve the right, at any time, to modify this Privacy Policy. Anytime you access or use the Platform, or any Services or Content, you are agreeing to be bound by the Privacy Policy in effect at that time, even if the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy have changed from an earlier time when you accessed or used the Platform or any Services or Content. If we make revisions that change the way we collect, use, or share personal information, we will post those changes in this Privacy Policy. You should review this Privacy Policy periodically so that you keep up to date on our most current policies and practices. We will note the effective date of the latest version of our Privacy Policy at the end of this Privacy Policy.

We do not share your information with third parties to directly market to you, but we may market to you on behalf of such third parties that would like to send you information about their products and services. For example, roster may offer a promotion in conjunction with a co-sponsor that may have special offers or services that might be of interest to our Users. We may also extend to you special offers from the co-sponsor that may be of interest to you.

We may share your personal information with service providers that perform services for roster, such as providing hosting services, marketing assistance, analyzing User data, and processing payment information. In addition, we may, without your consent, access and disclose your personal information, any communications sent or received by you, and any other information that we may have about you as may be permitted or as we believe in good faith may be reasonably necessary to comply with any law, regulation, rule or court order; pursuant to subpoenas or other lawful requests from governmental, regulatory or administrative agencies or law enforcement authorities (including in response to law enforcement); to respond to any claims, or to prevent, investigate, identify persons or organizations potentially involved in, or take any action regarding suspected fraud, violations of our Terms of Service, or activity that appears to us to be illegal or we believe may expose us to legal liability. Additionally, we may disclose Personal Information in situations that we believe to be emergencies involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person or property, if we believe that your information in any way relates to that threat. In addition, if roster sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, roster may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of that transaction.

The Platform may offer you the ability to share your personal information through a social networking site (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn), using such site’s integrated tools (e.g., Facebook “Like” button, or Twitter “Tweet” button). The use of such integrated tools enables you to share personal information about yourself with other individuals or the public, depending on the settings that you have established with such social networking site. Additionally, by making personal information available on the Platform, you “opt in” to allow roster to provide such personal information to a social networking site without your further consent. For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection and use in connection with such social networking site or a site’s integrated tools, please visit the privacy policies of the entities that provide these social networking sites.


4. PUBLIC FORUM AND MESSAGING

We may offer public discussion forums and bulletin boards. Please note that information that you disclose in these public forums become public. Use caution in disclosing any personal information. The Platform may also allow you to exchange messages with other Users. We may store these messages in order to deliver them and allow you to manage them.

We employ reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect personal information from becoming disclosed to individuals who are not described in this Privacy Policy. While there is no such thing as “perfect security” on the Internet, we will take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of your personal information.
